Hi Everyone!

It's cloudy and rainy again. We have cooler temps today so YIPPEE! So far, we have excaped the serious storms so I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way. 

The hyachints are closing up but I do have a few tulips (petite size--poor things) sprouting and trying to bloom. I think the bunny had lunch with the leaves on the ones in the front porch garden. 

The beach pants I ordered for our DIL arrived today. They look nice and weren't folded too many times inside the bag. I'm still behind with getting cards and a few small gifts. This may be my "new" normal for a few months. 

I watched some of AMStyle this morning with Leah. Costs on clearance are still high  so one can only imagine what the new inventory will cost. I saw that my favorite set of silicone tongs were on clearance for under $10 so I ordered them. That may be my best buy of this year. LOL

The hubby & I are sharing a cold/flu "bug" for a few days. I swear it's because we didn't have our killing winter.  The wasps and hornets are already buzzing heavy around the area. (not a good sign). 

The other day when I was dusting the big window in the bedroom I discovered a problem with the wood insert of the one panel. It looks like we had a water drip that damage part of it. It must have been a slow leak but it needs fixing.  I'll have to watch some videos and see what to do. UGH!!!

Good Afternoon and thanks for getting us started, Fressa.  Glad it is cooler in your area, and your DIL's gift pants arrived.  it is warm and sunny here -- too hot for you, Glenda, and others, but nice in my book.  It was in the 50's and sunny when I started my walk this morning, but they are predicting a high of 87 degrees later.

DD called with some scary news this morning.  Her gynecologist ordered a biopsy after her sonogram this morning.  He is concerned about the possibility of endrometrial cancer.  Needless to say, I am concerned and praying that she will be okay.  

I have watched very little here, but looking at the product reviews makes me think prices are going way up on many items.  Happy that I don't need any new clothes or shoes at the moment. Glad you were able to get the tongs you like so much at a great price.

I have been cleaning this morning, and will be visiting a hospice patient this afternoon.

Good evening ladies, hope all is well.

Fressa - Thank you for starting us today.  Sorry to hear about the leak in with the window.  Hope you can find a solution to it.  Glad to hear the pants aren't too wrinkled, I hate when I order something and it is a ball of wrinkles.I have ordered a couple pieces of clothing form the Q.  I decided I needed a couple nicer (not T shirt style) shirts for when we go out to eat and casual get togethers with friends.

Linda - I am sorry to hear about your DD, I will keep her in my thoughts.  Wishing the best for her.  I envy your weather, we had a week of nice warm weather and now this week is rain and 40's.  Just had a gust of wind that put both our deck chairs down.  Guess I will leave them there until tomorrow.  We have had high winds for the last couple years, have no idea where that came from.

Not much happening here, I did get some running around done and have to make my list of things to do for tomorrow,  Ironing is on the top of list.  Got some of my summer shirts out (silly me) and washed them, so now time to iron.

Hello all, I spent lots of time with my sister yesterday (4/17) as it was her birthday.  We had wind, rain and hail yesterday.  It's just cold and windy today.

Glenda @twinny70   I'm glad the spots were benign.

Linda @LindaLatte  What a frightening time right now for your daughter.  She is in my prayers for a favorable and BENIGN outcome.

Fressa, the steel hose that I ordered for my dh was from QVC.  It looks so much better than the rubber one we have been using.  It's supposed to get here on Friday.  Good luck with your window problem.  

Linda L, prayers are going out for you and your dd.  I am so relieved that my kidneys are fine and the two "spots" are benign.  My CIDP diagnosis was awful almost 22 years ago, but I had a village helping my dh & I.  It certainly turned our lives around in a New York minute.  

After a hot week of weather, we had a cold wet weekend with sleet and snow.  Now it's sunny and in the 50's which I prefer.  It's supposed to be rainy tomorrow and Thursday.

I had lunch  out with a couple of friends today & then went to the gym.  

I get my haircut tomorrow & want to go to the gym.

My dmil fell again last week so we are going to see her on Thursday.  

I am taking a break from our spring cleaning until Thursday.  Not a bad job with both of us helping each other out.  That cleaning set that I bought last year is wonderful for everything.

I am looking forward to our guests coming down from MN on Sunday.  My next infusion is on Monday afternoon, I get my stitches removed on Tuesday morning.  Then we are going on vacation as soon as I am done at the clinic.

I am having fun trying to figure out what to pack.

Twinny70-Thanks for the info on the steel hose. I still have my eye on it. The hubby (for some reason) doesn't like the idea of not having a rubber hose. Who knew??? 

You always have such a full schedule of activities and travels. Have fun!!!
