Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (FRIDAY, 4/3)

Bird or Bernie--When it is sunny, it is so much easier to get out and make a road trip. I just didn't feel like putting up with the cold rain. I hope you enjoy your Philosophy when it arrives.

Arlene--I've been to Kauai. It isn't an island I would spend much time on. I was disappointed in it when I visited, but I have to agree that Waimea Canyon was the highlight of that island. I'd much prefer to visit the Big Island because of its diversity. Oahu has much to offer to those who venture off the beach.

Linda--I'm glad that your DH can be helped with medication. Samples are a great way to test a medicine before paying for a prescription, but most of these drugs for overactive bladder are not expansive as most are available in generic form. The tablecloth is a great find!

I just can't motivate myself to get out and do road trips in the cold rain when I don't feel the best. It would have been a good day to avoid the weekend crowds. I did check online and see that the capris have yet to be shipped, and still can be cancelled. In the mood I am in, their days are numbered.

I wish there was a good restaurant nearby. I'm in the mood for a good dinner but the pizza place just doesn't do it nor does the deli section of the overpriced supermarket.

LL, I do hope that your DH gets relief soon. That table cloth for your AZ room sounds nice & cheerful. I am one that likes lots of color in my life. I think it is because I am color blind like my dad was. Our oldest DGS is also color blind.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (FRIDAY, 4/3)

Hello All,

Jean, I am sorry to hear you had an episode yesterday. That must have been difficult.

Twinny, That must be disappointing with regard to your Mother's eye appt.

I walked today. It is hard to believe it is already Friday. I met a lady walking and we decided to finish out our walk together. I would guess she was maybe 10 plus years older. She was such a wise woman. Have you ever been in a place in life where life throws you a challenge and you meet someone and you almost feel that God put them in you life at the right time to encourage you? I felt that way today with her. She just happened to say the right words, at the right time.

We our having company over for dinner tomorrow. My niece and her husband..we really enjoy them. My husband really wanted to do this and I will admit I was reluctant. Not because I don't enjoy them but this week has been full of some unexpected family drama. In addition, I am battling a identity theft issue. But now that I am in the groove of going to the store to get groceries, cleaning the house etc., I think it was a good call by my husband to go with the plan of entertaining. Perhaps a nice distraction.

O>K> I am not technical at all. With the QVC page changes, how do you easily get to forums? I just typed in fashion forum in the search but is there another way?

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (FRIDAY, 4/3)

Gayle--I've been going to the bottom where it says "QVC Community" under the bold type of QVC Everywhere today. My favorite, however, is get to the fashion forum by using the forum tab when I open "new tab." My frequently visited sites show up there, so I just click on the one I want. I see that this method still works despite website changes.

The episode yesterday just left me very, very tired and a little dizzy at times, which are some of the symptoms. I'm sorry that you are having a problem with identity theft. This can be a battle to resolve. Enjoy your company tomorrow and I hope it is a welcomed contrast to the family drama and the identify theft issue.

Rosa,

Anniversary dates are difficult. My Dad passed tragically years ago. His birthday was hard for me. When I married, I selected his birthday as my wedding day. I know that may sound odd to some but I really had a need to attach a happy memory to that day. And, in my case that turned out to be a good thing. I will be sending positive thoughts your way.

Jean, thanks for the QVC page information.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.
