Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

No would not wear any type of top with words. I do not even like it for children.

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

I prefer words in French I have several.   One says Je suis sneaky. (I am sneaky) Another says bonjour Y'all.

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

Brand names on my clothes is a no. Pay me to wear it.  I never cared for sayings but keep it short. My daughters always wear tees with singers/ band names on them. If you like them your choice not mine.

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

Doesn't bother me.  I'm not worried about what people think about reading what's on my clothing.

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

Don't like it at all and would never wear an item with words on it.  I've even stopped buying souvenir tees from places we visit.  I have enough and seldom, if ever, where them outside anymore.

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

[ Edited ]

Most of my "going into town" clothing doesn't have sayings but I've recently purchased a few that do.  They are inexpensive and very casual.  My BF has tons of tee shirts with logos and places we've cruised to.

Some of mine ........

"Sunshine and Coffee"   "Underestimate Me! That'll Be Fun" "Late Night Readers Club"  "You can't fix stupid but you don't have to vote for it"

Many shirts and sweatshirts have words, phrases, affirmations on them. IMHO I just don't like this on my clothing.

How do you feel about this?

@Shanus    I have to agree with you.  It's not my style.  There was a similar post recently and I responded..and said that I have only two items with words on them. One is my Steelers sweatshirt and the other is a sweatshirt that says "Shopping is my Cardio".  It was a gift..and I enjoyed the humor.  I also don't like jumbo Santas, animal faces or affirmations. Guess I like to keep things simple.  🤷🏻‍♀️

Re: SAYINGS/WORDS ON CLOTHING

I really don't care to know about other people's "affirmations", nor would I ever consider imposing mine on them.
