SALE PRICE VS CLEARANCE PRICE ??? AM I GOOFY ?

I thought items went on "sale" and then the "sale" items not sold went on "clearance".

I noticed on many Q items now "on clearance" actually have a higher price then a previous "sale" price and I'm not talking about One Time Only Value prices or TSV prices.

Has anyone else noticed this?
