I am returning garment #6 today because of sizing.... I have lost 25 pounds and cannot seem to get the proper fit for pants. I now take a Quaker size four... which are still an odd fit. I have sent back Denim and company jeans and other brands of jeans that are either too big or too small........I am going to surrender... i have a ton of stuff in my closet that are too big. wish i knew how to sew, i would just take them in and save myself money and aggrevation. Old Navy is the next step. it is difficult to find petite or short jeans there also.

Re: Returns..... so frustrated.

I also lost 20 lbs over the summer. I ended up buying the Women cargo pants. I love them. I also noticed that she has pants in petite. Speaking form a tailoring background jeans are very hard to fit.

I never buy jeans on line. It's near impossible to find a pair that fits me in the waist and hip without trying them on. I only buy pull on pants from the Q and even they are inconsistent in sizing.

so so, i know it must be frustrating, but yay for you! 25 lbs is great! stop shopping on tv and just go to a b & m store. you can try on various sizes and styles and never have to pay to return them. find out which stores carry petite sizes. i think there are several. i can't ever buy clothes on tv. i have to try them on. good luck!

Re: Returns..... so frustrated.

With the exception of knit pants, I have given up buying pants on-line unless they do free shipping and free returns or there is a store in my area where I can make the return.  I am too hard of a fit on the bottom.

On-line shopping isn't the way to try and find your fit.

Re: Returns..... so frustrated.

I have lost 40 lbs and I am still losing. I am now shopping in the B&M stores. I have been buying my jeans from Kohl's because they carry petites. Kohl's has many sales on these jeans so the costs is very reasonable. Also, I bought two beautiful sweaters from JC Penney in petite. They were St. John Bay and were on sale. I got a good deal. I do not live near a large shopping mall and find these stores have very nice clothes. When I went to JC Penney the associate told me they are getting many new fall styles.

Re: Returns..... so frustrated.

For every garment you buy, go to the "CLICK HERE" for the actual measurements, for every size. It is where the Description is.

It is amazing the variety in measurements even in the same brand. LOGO is good example. I took a garment (pants or top) that fits me well and measured It. I use those measurements compared to the CLICK HERE measurements. Then take into account how much stretch in the fabric. My pants, I only check waist and inseam. Stretchy pants usually have 3-4 inches stretch.

LOGO tops I only check chest circumference 1" below armhole.

I never have to return anything any more. Shoes, another story.....

@so so

Congrats on the weight loss!   Good for you!

May I suggest something .....   please STOP ordering things online for your new body and size.  Pants can be very tricky to fit.

For all the money you've wasted on shipping, you could have taken at least half of your favorite pieces in your closet and have a Tailor take them in.   Why not get at least some of them altered ... if you can get a few years more wear out of favorite pieces, it's money well spent .....  and you won't regret it!

@so so My sister-in-law shops at Macys because they carry petites and their clothes fit her very well. I think with jeans and pants, you must try them on because every brand is different. Congrats on your weight loss.

When you lose weight, sometimes you are between one size and the next size. It is better to go to the store if you can.

@elated Yes, my sister-in-law shops at Kohl's too for petites. And at JC Penneys too.

In fact, over the weekend we went shopping at the mall and so many great sales.
