This is the coldest day of the year and I'm wearing my black sweater knit pants from Linea.  I LOVE these pants.  Days like today remind me of how sad it is that they let that man leave QVC.  I loved (still do!) his clothes and still wear them proudly.

I have five of his coats in my closet, and two jackets.  Sigh.

His were the best!!  I loved his faux suede.  I have the anorak in (I think) every color he made and also the full length coat.  Plus the trenches (multiple colors) and too many other things to mention.  Smiley Happy

My lifestyle is very casual almost every day now. Yet I still regret getting rid of my Linea clothes. Over the years mostly donated and a few I tossed. There was a time when the majority of what was in my closet was from Louis. Wish I kept them. I still have a beautiful silk scarf.

I miss seeing his shows, he was such a gentleman, and his clothes were so nice and timeless.

He had great models, and I miss seeing his lovely late wife as well....I hope he is doing well, and enjoying his retirement!

Re: Remembering the Linea line

Since his departure the Q has found no one who can compare to his designs, materials, quality and collections.  After all these years I'm still wearing his whisper knit pieces, leather jackets, trench coats, blazers, ponte pants, etc. Louis would show us how to coordinate and intermix his pieces.  He was the best by far. Still loving them all.

Louis is a true designer.  His clothing is timeless and by far the best line in QVC, then and now.  No one comes close to what he brought to his ladies but QVC buyers were not interested in his line.

@nascarfan  I agree with what you said about his line. However, I disagree that QVC buyers were not interested.  He had quite a following.  Those who appreciate classic, well made clothing sure were.  I guess those who rather be seen going out in sweats and PJs weren't interested.

Re: Remembering the Linea line

@santorini  I still wear so many of my Linea pieces!  I'll be wearing a red plaid jacket of his to a Christmas luncheon on Wednesday.  I sure do miss Louis.
