Remember when WOMEN'S CLOTHES had...

Darts? They gave shape and a better fit to the dress or blouse. I have not seen them in years? decades? Any one else remember it?

Yes, last dress I made (last year) had darts.  All the stretchy fabrics don't need them I guess.

@Flatbush

Not always.

I just puchased two Isaac Mizrahi camp shirts in pima cotton .... and they have darts!

I wish they didn't have darts.  You don't need them on a camp-shirt style blouse.  I considered sending them back.

I remember darts but I despised them.

Im pretty flat-chested so darts were terrible for me.

I had to wear them if there were on my uniforms for school or work. #Boo-Hiss

@Flatbush   I remember darts, but couldn't wear them. My bo*obs were never where the darts were even in petites. Lol

Darts are still in many tops---along with princess seaming. I can't wear any thing with any of those in them--am flat chested--literally- from double mastectomy with no recon. Have nothing to fill those out but I see them in many things in fashion online and here at the Q. Not going anywhere.

Yes, I remember darts. I still have an Ann Taylor fitted button front white shirt that has them. I had a few fitted sheath dresses that had them too, but I don't own those dresses anymore. Lots of blouses and tops have been looser fitting for many years. Maybe that combined with stretchy fabrics means darts aren't needed?

I just bought 2 cotton dresses with darts.   I love them since I have a fairly small waist compared to my chest and hip.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
