Laurie Felt Baja Sweater with Fringe Hem Detail - A399746Remember this sweater?

Laurie Felt Baja Sweater with Fringe Hem Detail Bright Combo

March 2024 .... about $30,

I bought one and put it away and forgot about it.  I found it yesterday when I was going through boxes of "saved' sweaters.

The body of the sweater and the sleeves were not assembled correctly.  Sleeves are inside out.  Can't be fixed .... in the trash.

IF you look closely at the picture .... you can see the model is wearing the sweater inside out.  The seams at the shoulders should be on the inside.

I did have this in the blue stripe but donated last year as I wasn't reaching for it.

I ordered this and even at the smallest size it was enormous on me and I returned it. It was a very popular item at the time.

@ALRATIBA.  Now you know why it was only $30.

Are you sure the seams aren't supposed to be on the outside?

There's a bunch of them for sale on eBay and it does look like the seams are on the outside of the sleeves but not that they're inside out.

Per Google:

The Laurie Felt Baja sweater is designed with
exposed, top-stitched exterior seams. This design feature is intentional, providing durability and shape retention as well as a distinct style detail.

Looks like a beautiful sweater.

I think I have that sweater in two colors ... have never worn them.  I've stopped doing this with Q clothing now ...

@FranandZoe

Yes .... there's a right and wrong side to the stitch used on the sweater.  On mine,  when received, the sleeves were sewn wrong side out and the body right side out.

On that photo I posted, it's just the opposite.  The body is the wrong side and the sleeves are the right side.  No one said anything about it being reversible.

It is possible that the designer did that deliberately .... but it should have  been mentioned when sold.  I don't wear clothes that are (partly) inside out.

@FranandZoe

Thanks .... they should have mentioned that when sold.  (Or mentioned to check Google for details before purchasing.)

I wonder if that Google notice was an after-thought ... or excuse for manufacturing defect.

As I said below .... I don't wear clothes like that.
