Reduced S&H Shocker

WOW! This is a first for me. I put four fashion items (different brands) in my cart & when I placed the order, I got half price shipping on all except the first. Needless to say, I was shocked but very happy.

That's nothing new. It's been that way for years. Pays to collect all the clothing items you want to buy before placing your order.

Sparkle - that's great and news to me. I know that did that with Denim & Co items.

You think they would publicize these "deals." Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't, and I don't have a clue what the difference is. So I usually order things one at a time unless its the same item number.

This isn't new. If your order is all fashion, everything after the first item is half off shipping, regardless of what brand you are buying.

I've ordered different brands before (in the same order) and not gotten reduced S&H. I have gotten it, when I've ordered multiple items within the same brand.

Venezia, I have to agree with you. When I first began ordering on QVC about 2 years ago, I remember ordering different beauty brands and expecting the 1/2 shipping on the remaining items and did not get it. I called CS and was told that the beauty products had to be the same brand. My other question was that I thought if I ordered the same brand in the same day, I would get a discount and was told the beauty items of the same brand had to be in the same order. However CS gave me the discount because I could have cancelled and reordered together. Perhaps this is a glitch in the system?

Whatever it is, QVC does not communicate well with its customers nor does Marketing do a good job.

Hi Venezia, Were your items all fashion items? I have been ordering from the Q for years and have always rec'd half off shipping regardless of the brand.

This might not be new, but it is terribly inconsistent. It seems to only happen sometimes, with some lines. I always just chalked it up to a glitch in the system, and ordered away when I could find it.

Once in awhile I will find things that show shipping 0.00. Not Shipping included, and not Free Shipping, but zeros in the shipping charge line. When I find that, I check all items in that brand, because it often is more than one thing. I always figured that was a glitch as well.
