UPDATE ~ I started this conversation today 9/3/14 at 11:20 a.m. Eastern time. This evening, 9/3/14 I received a phone call from QVC. I was so surprised to hear from them personally.
The lady said they noticed I posted on the forum about receiving someone else's merchandise, but addressed to me. She apologized and stated I would be getting my refund shortly. Asked if I sent the wrong merchandise back and I told her I sent it. She assured me I would receive a full refund (s/h, tax) on my credit card bill. But, that it most likely would take 2 billing cycles on my credit card account. She told me that the item I originally ordered (black faux leather jacket) was on waitlist and asked if I wanted to reorder it. She then told me the price was higher, but I could have it at the reduced price if it should come back into stock within 45 days. I told her to go ahead and order it for me.
It is only right that I share this information with all of you to let you know that QVC did go out of their way by calling me some hours later to apologize and assure me I would get my refund. SO, JUST TO LET YOU PEOPLE KNOW, QVC DOES READ THE FORUM ENTRIES. Who knew?
Thank you QVC for taking the extra time to call me and want QVC to know I appreciate that very much!

On 9/3/2014 sparklestar said:I really hope that you took that little incident to a supervisor! Absolutely no excuse for that! I'm frankly appalled that so many people have had these experiences. I've been lucky but then I don't shop as often as some of you mightI was checking my account status and refunds and found that I ordered an item in june and I didn't remember getting it. So I check the tracking info and to see if it was delivered, and lo and behold it showed:
<table id="tblOrderTrackingStatus" class="stripeTable" summary="Package Progress showing City, State, Date and Time of progress update." width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tbody> <tr class="odd"> <td>YOUR PACKAGE IS IN TRANSIT TO THE UPS FACILITY</td> <td>FLORENCE</td> <td>SC</td> <td class="tdDate">07/01/2014</td> <td class="tdDate"></td> </tr> </tbody> </table>So it never made it to my door. I called CS and explained and she said "normally we don't refund over 30 days and this has been 45 soooooo" I explained I didn't realize it until just now and she stated "next time don't wait 45 days."
Thanks you soooooo much for refunding me something I didn't received. Guess I should be grateful.

Yes, it has. Reminds me that I need to check out my most recent QVC packages and make sure that I received what I ordered.

I was on autoship for an Isomers' kit from ShopHQ. I received one and was still using one I had received earlier, so I just put it in the closet, in the box, never opening it.
I'm sure you guessed it. Months later, I opened the box to get my great Isomers products. Instead, I had received 2 bottles of conductor for the Suzanne Somers Facemaster. I was kind of upset, but I had to laugh, too. There was nothing I could do about it since it was so long since I had received it.
In another instance, I ordered a Skinn kit from ShopHQ, but I received a different kit. The label on the box was for the kit I ordered, but the contents were not what I ordered. ShopHQ, of course, said their system showed I received what I ordered, but I could obviously send it back. I wanted the kit I ordered, but it was no longer offered.
So I went to Facebook and wrote to Skinn telling them what happened. They were very cool. They no longer had the kit either, but someone there pulled the pieces of the kit together from other kits and sent me everything. They were extremely nice. They didn't care if I returned the other kit. They said to keep it because of the mistake that was made. So I did. I actually ended up giving it away because I really didn't use the stuff in the kit sent to me by ShopHQ.
So, lesson learned. Always open the boxes when they arrive.

Yup, I bought a pair of clearance shoes from QVC, they were blue wedge sandals. I got a pair of blue wedge sandals, just not the pair I ordered. But they were nice and there weren't any more so I kept them. The packaging had the correct information, the shoes weren't the correct brand though.
Another time from a Canadian shopping channel, I ordered one brand of handbag and got a completely different brand. Both are QVC vendors too. I didn't like the bag I received and sent it back and the one I originally ordered was no longer available. If the barcode on the packaging says one thing but the item inside isn't the correct item, the packers don't look and don't care. It's what's on their handheld scanner that "counts"!

In nearly 25 years of QVC shopping this happened to me for the first time ever a couple months ago. I ordered two pairs of "regular" LOGO leggings and a LOGO tunic. What I received was two tunics and a Petite legging (in a color I did not want). I just returned everything. I did not want two tunics (same color), but would have kept one of them had the Petite leggings been in the color I wanted to wear with the tunic. These leggings were ankle length, so I'm not so tall that I could not have worn my size in the petite length. QVC extended a complete refund -- including waiving the deduction for using the easy return prepaid shipping label. I wasn't angry about the mix up--just disappointed.

I just got the wrong color in an 'as is' shoe! I've always been wary of quality control with 'as is' items.

At QVC, while I have never received a completely different item, I have received a different size than what I ordered. For instance, in a LOGO sweater, I ordered an XXS and received a 1X. And of course, my size was sold out and never did come back in the color I ordered. This has happened a few times and each time I couldn't get a replacement because it was sold out.
My first time I ordered online from Barnes & Noble, I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 for dummies type book and received a used History book. The mailing lable had my address but inside was the shipping info for the other customer along with her book. I went online and saw the History book I had was the only copy. I felt bad for her so was willing to ship it to her to ensure she had it as the book was about $50 but when I called Barnes & Noble they requested I send it back to them. Not sure if she ever received it. They did have my book in stock so I did eventually receive it.

I feel your pain op. I ordered the tsv lamb leather jacket in black large, was put on waitlist. Finally come in and I received someone else's small mallard blue. Clearly marked on the outside of the jacket packaging. I called qvc and they refused to put me back on the list. Finally a male operator felt bad enough to send a request to corporate to over ride the waitlist. I never heard back. I ordered the xl but it was just too big. Happy ending, I stalked the jacket until it was available and the operator gave me the tsv price because of the documented history on file. You never know.
A friend received her ming pearl earrings with someone else's order slip inside the package. Luckily she just shredded the slip. But she did call to make sure they knew the mixup.
