I haven't had that but other odd shipping..
I ordered a necklace from Shophq..It shipped on 7/23..I followed the tracking til about 60-miles from my home where it stopped on 7/25..Nothing more for a week. I emailed CS and they said on 8/5/14 give it another day the item may of missed the scan and be delivered. So we were on vacation during that week..came back and by the time I thought to give tracking one more check so I could say to CS that I checked...it showed it was out for delivery from my local PO..that it went to them that very early morning...
I did receive it..but VERY ODD..that it sat around someplace a few weeks..somebody must of found it laying someplace and sent it on.

Yes this has happened to me before. I would say it has happened about 5 or 6 times over the last 15 or 20 years.
On one or two occasions, I got the right item, just the wrong size. Strange.

A number of years ago I ordered a JBK bracelet - one with blue stones that I thought was well worth the price they were asking. When the box came, it did contain a JBK bracelet, but a far more expensive one - much prettier than the one I had ordered. I contacted CS and they said that if I liked the one I received I should just keep it, so I did. Not good for them, but a nice treat for me. Keeping it was their idea, but I didn't object.

On 9/3/2014 anniebear said:tough_kitty My package showed it was delivered to me because the address on the outside of the package was mine. The item inside the package was for someone else with a different address. Don't think the PO would be able to track a package any way other than with the address on the outside. The problem is with whoever or whatever is putting the wrong items in the packages without checking to make sure both are for the same person!
I see. Well, in this case, you could take a picture of the product and the packing slip showing a different address and use it as proof, so the c.c. company doesn't bill you for this or something...I guess it all depends on a person handling the issue....
And yes, seems like QVC is hiring cheap labor.....really not cool...and no wonder it takes them FOREVER to ship my items! They probably spend 3 days verifying everything 100 times! In which case, I don't mind the wait...LOL....

I'm glad Perkup had a good customer service experience...that gives me hope! The few times I've had a service issue with QVC I have been underwhelmed by their responses. One of the issues was receiving an incorrect item - it was a different LOGO top than the one I ordered so clearly an easy packing error to make. Of course the correct item was no longer available and I had to wait on a credit.
I understand the Q has multiple distribution centers and tremendous volume but it would be nice if they offered something small when errors are made - 10% off your next order or free shipping on your next item. The indifference I've been met with when my holiday gifts & food items are delivered late is irritating.

YES. I don't remember what it was I ordered, but I got a Joan Rivers long sparkly cardigan thing that was like an XXS. I called customer service and it was all straightened out. I can only guess it is a case of workers not paying attention to what they are doing.
I also got a Vera Bradley tote in which the packaging was mis-marked -- it was not the pattern that was on the bag. And of course the pattern I wanted was sold out. Due to that incident, I have learned it is better to go directly to the Vera Bradley website. The prices are better than what is on QVC.
