A couple of years ago Marshall's had paint spattered denim shirts and pants in the designer section.  While browsing the lady also shopping told me she was a painter (artist type) and she was excited to see this offering.  Not for me, but kinda cute.

I lived in California for 15 years.  There is no such thing as California chic, California style.

SIDE STITCH prices are ridiculously high.  I know, their fabric is proprietary and fabulous.  So, I will just have to rough it and live without their wonderful products.  Give them credit-their PR department has done a fantastic job promoting this overpriced brand.

Everything isn’t for everyone. Clearly these pants aren’t for you.

QVC programming has been rife with orthopedic shoes and potholder purses today. I got through it without starting a thread to bash it.

@Foxxee   I'm relieved to hear that.  I suspected as much.

Agreed!  They just offered a flannel type shirt for $110.  I can beat these prices at an upscale department store any day. 😳

@maximillian - Their fabric is not proprietary.  Many fashion retailers use Lyocell in their clothing lines (not to mention household items, like bedding).

And it isn't even a new fabric - that's just hype.  I had pants in Tencel decades ago.  (Same fabric, except Tencel is a brand name.)  They wore beautifully and I'd still have them but decided a few years ago that it was time to "move on" and I donated them.  They didn't even show any wear.

If they're trying to justify their (IMO) ridiculously high prices on the basis of the fabric - sorry, not buying it.  Literally.

@Goodie2shoes - ITA.  In fact, I have a  pair of black joggers that look very similar.  I got white paint splatters on them while decorating and I keep them for doing any odd jobs inside and outside.  The joggers cost me about $8 at Walmart.  The paint job was free; just my own labor!

At least you know how to spell chic.

👍 @RollTide2008. Because you are respectful of other people's choices.  Clearly not everyone who posts here is. (There's a new LOGO bashing thread here today too. 🙄)
