I like that jacket and tend to gravitate to shorter jackets. But I do not wear jackets over a longer top. That look never worked for my body.

So any bottom, skirt or pant, would need to have a waist band that came up high enough to meet the bottom of the jacket.

I love short jackets.  They are great on petite frames.  Long jackets cut me off and make my legs look short....which they are already.

Most of my jackets are short, and if I can find them without a collar and lapel, even better.

I really like short jackets. I'm long waisted. If I wear a long blazer, it makes my legs look shorter.

Marla Wynne just had a TS short jacket.

@on the bay  Such great points about those home renovation shows and how they bash a house as being "outdated".  I think part of the charm of a house being outdated, is that its a time capsule of design- its comforting and the color schemes are a lot more experimental and interesting than the ones I see now on tv. If I get to own a house someday, I want it to be a 70's inspired house- a shag rug, stone fireplace, mahogany wood furnishings, a velvet couch, some color accents of avocado, orange and harvest yellow and exposed bulb lighting fixtures.  It'll be a sexy Brandy Bunch house .

He'll come included with the decor, probably blending into the wood paneling with his wool suit and tangled in a phone cord while trying to reach Marcia while she's out on a date.  Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! I had a crush on Mike Brady when I was a kid watching The Brady Bunch on Nick at Night- the boys on that show did nothing for me, but Mike Brady was a handsome dad on that show .  Oooh and of course I'd create a guest bedroom for Jan, my absolute favorite jaded spinster! I'll have a bearskin rug in the master bedroom for 70's era Burt Reynolds to magically appear!
