I'm 5' 1 1/2 ".  If the Q is selling pants I like (crops), I order the regular (or even tall) to get the full length I want.  Hope that helps.

I am 5'1" and shop elsewhere. You'll still find these same styles but other retailers offer more of what you want too.

I'm in my 70s and love cropped pants. I wear them all the time when out in the summer. I wear shorts around the house. I also prefer straight leg because the wide/bell legs make me look as wide as I am tall.

I don't expect pants to be the correct length. Some petites are perfect but most are still long. Having them shortened in just part of life for shorter people.

@CalminHeart The two of the large tailor/cleaners in my town closed. I am just morally opposed to spending almost as much to shorten and Item I paid for it

I just looked at Appleseeds and saw some interesting possibilities.  Never ordered from them before ... would you say their size chart is reliable?

Please, please, please offer more pants in straight leg full length pants.

I am 5'1" and these crop pants that QVC is showing from all designers are just not flattering on me.

I love gauze and there are so many beach pants being offered but they are 99% wide leg. Not for me.  I have a few pair of beach pants in straight leg that I wear all summer and would buy more if they were offered.

Just bought a pair from Denim & Co in lime green....please make some in stripes or a smaller print in straight legs.

Obviously (I guess) the wide legs and the crops are selling....but this old customer is not buying them.

Completely agree. And that goes for 25" length tops. Comes 3/4 down my thigh. 2 reasons I rarely buy clothes from Q anymore. I saw 2 JR tops I loved. I would have had to have them hemmed. No sale.

@Tinkrbl44 Yes pretty much.  Or as reliable as anything I guess.  I am a big fan of their Everyday Knit Pants--nice to too heavy weight knit that washes well and is inexpensive.  I find they are probably more consistent in sizes that QVC.

I also stocked up on the Captiva Side Tab capris for summer.  They have a lot of nice white pants!

I am short and need Petite sized tops. I wear a small and many tops are 26" which are just too long. Sleeves are too long too. I shop elsewhere for tops.

I am 5'4", busty and short-waisted.  Not petite, per se.

The perfect length for me is 24 inches, which is difficult to find.

Everything is 28 inches long, which is useless.  I'm not taking these types of garments to a tailor!

I get it. I am lucky to have found a tailor that doesn't charge much to hem pants.  I've been going to him for 25 years.

Re: Rant from a petite.

[ Edited ]

Seems to me that there is a lot of tops that are shorter now.  I've seen several  on QVC and like that we hve more options.  Also, I find it easy to alter pant length without a lot of skills.  You just need a tape measure, scissors and needle and thread or the hemming tape we discussed earlier on this forum.  I alter a lot of my pants, but that's because I want to and decided I could do it.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
