I'm guessing what the OP is trying to say is that QVC is a shopping channel, not a Pay-Per-View channel or an adult movie channel. While it's not a family channel, it's probably supposed to be a channel that's safe to leave on with little ones in the room and there really shouldn't be any "surprises," is what the OP is trying to say.

I just don't understand some of you saying PM Style and QVC are adult shows. If they are adult shows, then they shouldn't have programming on 3 different channels 24 hours a day. If you watch 'adult shows' and think that QVC is one, I certainly don't get your way of thinking. So what you're inferring is that I can't have my friend over and we can't watch PM Style because my friend has a child?

Thank you, that's exactly what I was saying. It's too bad some people don't understand.

It's not children's programming. The point is,that you should be controlling what your children or your friend's children watch. Not controlling the rest of the world who does not find the programming objectionable.

There are many prime time shows that are not appropriate for children. As a parent, you should control the TV. Not the programming.

We all have different ideas of what we expect from a home shopping network. If the OP is a regular viewer then she's entitled to express her opinion if she feels strongly about a particular segment. Of course she could just choose to change the channel but what would that solve? Contact the management by phone or letter and let them know what you feel.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. Young boys watching QVC? Why would they be interested, dancing or no dancing?

And women calling customer service to complain about a few dance moves? And escalating the intensity by asking to speak to supervisors?

If I ever get this to the point that I'm so upset over something like this, I'll know it means I need to find something to do with my time. Start a new exercise program, join a book group, find a new hobby...anything but pester customer service with calls about this!

If Renee' s show as suggested is for adults only - well here on the West Coast P.M. Style comes on At 4 p.m. When the children are all at home with their Moms and probably t.v. Is on so maybe Renee & Monica should putting on their ""performances"" on later shows so that here at 4 p.m. Parents do not have to worry about what their children may see on what is after all a shopping channel where I wouldn't expect to have this problem. Seems it is only on this particular show where there is a problem. Just my thoughts.

I never took my kids shopping with me when I was shopping for clothing or make-up and such, and I wouldn't have them watch a shopping channel with me either. When my grandchildren are around, generally I'm not watching the Q, I'm doing something with them. If they are here spending the night and off doing something on their own and I tune in to the Q and they walk in, they don't even give the tv a second look, it's not interesting to them in the least.

I seriously doubt a single child was emotionally scarred by catching a glimpse of the dancing that takes place once in a while on the Q.

ETA - I find the idea of someone making their small child sit and watch the Q with them a whole lot more troublesome than fully clothed dancing!

Unfortunately I never became a parent. I didn't say it was my child! Please don't even respond to me again because it is obvious you are not completely reading my posts and I'm tired of you saying the same thing. GET THIS, QVC IS NOT AN ADULT PROGRAM AND I DONT HAVE ANY CHILDREN THAT YOU SAY I HAVE TO CONTROL! GOT IT NOW?

No one said anything about "making" their child sit and watch the Q ... it's not like they sat the child in front of the TV and forced them to watch. Geez.
