Question re QVC buying HSN

When did this happen?  I just heard about it & wondered if HSN would remain a separate entity & keep all it's vendors?

QVC didn't buy HSN; Qurate Retail Group did.  They own both corporations and a number of other retailers including Zulily.  It happened a years or so ago.
