Question on Breezies Sizing

I've read in the reviews that their sizing is not standard, but I'm confused on how they do it. I tried to follow their sizing chart, but I don't get it, I know I'm not a 40A, when I normally wear a 36D. My actual measurements are 33.5 around the band, and 38 across the bust. Anyone know what size I should go with?
