Question about "style?"

Does anyone like the look of crop pants with wedge heeled shoes with straps (or ribbon?) wrapped up around the ankle & higher?

I've noticed it on both Jacque & Antonella & I think it's really unattractive (especially on the shorter, chunkier gals). Any opinions?
