None of the Spanx high waisted or full bodysuit under garments have snaps or hook & eyes for opening the crotch.  That means you must pull the item down to use the bathroom.   I suppose some people could manage to get through their occasion without going.  I however, would not be in that group -- even if I drank nothing, so could never wear anything which made going to the bathroom so troublesome.

I would have to refrain from liquids for three days prior.  My kidneys can produce from nothing.
