I don't really buy Quacker Factory but I watch the shows occassionally and know the line fairly well.

Don't you think the prices are going up rather steep lately? I saw tops that were casual, like tee's going for $ 50.00 or more.

I think of her clothes as casual and typically to go with jeans, leggings, shorts, etc.

She's not a designer like Goldstein, Mackie, or others, what's up with the pricing ?

Re: Quacker Factory- Pricing

I don't think it's just QF that has had a significant price increase, I think it's across the fashion board at the Q. Every line seems to be priced higher in recent months no matter their previous baseline. Definitely has made me curtail my spending here when SO many other places offer more deeply discounted sales and free shipping/returns.

I agree........I do buy a few of theQF tops that aren't real flashy and I like the quality. I can throw them in the washer on delicate and hang to dry and they look like new. I don't mind paying more for something I can wear that doesn't fall apart or fade.

Now that I am retired, I have to really like it...to buy.

Clothing items as well as others are really increasing in price on QVC.  I'm not stupid and know where to buy elsewhere.

Re: Quacker Factory- Pricing

I haven't bought clothes from QVC for quite some time and it's not just due to pricing.  I don't like any of the designers they have or the styles they show.  Once in a while I might be interested in a Denim and Company item, but not very often.

I agree Sunshine Kate, plus so many retailers are having sales this time of the year and they are not clearance sales!  Unless it is something I really want and cannot find it elsewhere, I will buy from the Q, but their prices have gone way up, IMO!

Also, most of the clothing items I see on the Q these days, are ugly or do not  suit my lifestyle now that I am retired!

I guess summer is over at the Q now that July is here!

Re: Quacker Factory- Pricing

When in life have prices NOT gone up?  QVC is not the Walmart of shopping channels; Evine holds that position.  You'll find cheap stuff there.  I actually shop here at QVC because the prices are so incredibly reasonable.  Sometimes I just can't believe how great the prices are.  Of course; if not for QVC, I would be shopping at Lord & Taylor, Bloomies, a little at Neiman Marcus.  I'd be spending more than $50 for tops and more than $40 for the maxi dresses that I can't get enough of from QVC.  .

I just saw an eyelet short sleeve camp shirt for $49.75. Then add $3.00 for shipping. I think that is outrageous for a mostly cotton shirt. Quacker is pricing me out of buying.

I saw and liked that shirt as well but with S&H plus tax it would cost me $57. And it was french terry - not even real denim, which would at least last forever. I sadly passed it by. sigh.
