Q sizing is very large in sizing length and otherwise as its VANITY sizing. The average American is quite over weight. Look around at the grocery store, at the movies, etc.

OK, here come the pearl clutchers! Omg, how rude! Omg, how could she??

Facts ladies, facts.

No matter what anyone's opinion is, QVC is going to offer whatever sells the most.

QVC sizing is much larger than department stores.  When a host or model say they are wearing a medium, if that's QVC sizing, it's comparable to a department store size L.  Some hosts go down too many sizes when wearing QVC clothes so they end up in a size much too small for them.

Thank you, Perfectpear.

I agree with most of it.  I've never understood the QVC vanity sizing thing because if I order my true size, it's too big.  But, if I order a size down, it's too small.  Inconsistency is QVC's biggest problem.   Blouses are always too long.  Petite pants are totally out of proportion.  Regular pants are too long.   The sizing charts don't ever match up with the items I receive.   (yes, I'm whining...)

I gave up ordering QVC clothing.  Better to go to a store and try items on.

(seriously?  the average woman is 5'3", 170 lbs?!?!?!  Wow)

I also didn't know the average female is only 5'3" 1/2.  I thought the average was like 5'5".
