Re: QVC pricing on clothes has gone overboard

The phony reduction in shipping was shameless. Not refunded and 6.95 to return? I am so out. I laughed when I saw logo premier line which costs between 79 and over a hundred. Nordstroms with free shipping and excellent delivery and customer service is actually cheaper for great products. Qvc shipping remains 10 to 14 days at least to san Diego. Returns take 3 weeks. And with no reduction in shipping when ordering multiple items negates "reduction" in shipping in addition to no refund.

Seems to me wen must be suffering. I didn't do the gallon this yr and no way would anyone in their right mind try a new type of wen formula and then pay all that shipping to return.

Re: QVC pricing on clothes has gone overboard

I have to agree... Hate to complain but I have noticed things that were $25-$30 now seem to be more like $40-$45. Then when you add on shipping and return if doesn't work that is another $10. Things on sale in stores are 25-40% off and not just a few dollars. Quackery Factory seems like it has gone up in the last several years. Have to really want something to order clothing here anymore.

Re: QVC pricing on clothes has gone overboard

The D & C tops have become way overpriced and the fit of their tops are not good on me; pants are perfect fit. What did it for me, though, was the change in the phony shipping reduction which is not reduced; then not refunding the original shipping if item is returned. .  I recently ordered 3 jewelry clearance items on the same date, $3 shipping for each.  All 3 were in the same package and it was very light, but the shipping I paid was $9--outrageous and QVC must be making a nice profit not refunding shipping and doing deals like I received with the jewelry.  My shopping here is very scrutinized now..

I totally agree that prices, especially for LOGO, are high, so I order a few things and try not to get caught up in the moment.  Also, easy pay is nice, but get several easy pays and they add up.

Re: QVC pricing on clothes has gone overboard

I used to be a very loyal customer and purchased much of my clothing (among other things) from QVC.  But the steady increase in prices over the last few years,

coupled with  inconsistency in sizing, and new shipping rates have made me reluctant to buy.  I've never shopped or watched HSN, but last Thursday tuned in and saw some of the fashion clearance shows.  The prices were reasonable with deals on shipping included.   The hosts were low key and easy to watch. Was looking at their website and set up an account.  The next day I received a 15% Off coupon to use on my first purchase!  Since then they've sent me other notices of coupons, free shipping, etc...

Like others, I've gone back to shopping at Kohls, Macy's, Marshalls,

Dillards, and JCPenneys - with sales and coupons, I can buy 2, 3 or 4 items for the price of a $50 clothing item at QVC.  Plus, I can try things on and take them home immediately.   I still watch QVC to see the latest fashion trends, colors, and styles but somewhat sadly, shopping for clothing has ended (other than occasional Linea).

ScarletDove: that $9 shipping charge to receive 3 small jewelry items in 1 package would have bothered the heck out of me, also. So much so, that in the future (if there IS a future order of more than 1 item), l would purchase each item as a separate order, just on principle.

I totally agree.  A blouse/shirt for $50 is about $30 too much!!  Try to stay in line with retail stores, or what's the point.   The S. Graver clothes is what's really gone sky high lately!!

ITA. For the past 2 weekends, I've been shopping at Macy's Super Sales. I've gotten QUALITY clothing at amazing discount prices by using their coupons. I recently bought 3 pairs of summer weight slacks, a Calvin Klein hoodie, 2 long sleeve crew necks tops,a Lucky brand bluse, and a lightweight denim shirt for a total of $50.

Yes, it has. I've noticed that pricing on items in my Wish List have increased as much as $10.00 in the last few months, since the new shipping rates went into effect.

I have been working on rebuilding/replacing our wardrobes over the last year. I can't get out and about very well, so other than a few local stores, I have to shop online. I do a lot of comparison shopping and most things here are twice what they are elsewhere. To be fair, I have gotten some great things from the Q during LTS and in the Last Clicks section.

Recently, I purchased 14 items from JCP. With their sale prices and my rewards code, my order came to $123.00 w/free shipping, and arrived in 3 days. Everything fits us great and the quality is there.

Heads up Q.
