The current stylist on QVC drives me bonkers. One expects a stylists' work to make the clothes and the models look good within whatever constraints they face ...just watched the presentation of A213971...a pair of bruce makowsky high heeled version of the gladiator shoe. It is a fabulous shoe. One model was standing a a pink long dress (ugly) with a jean jacket, light blue Makowsky purse and olive green shoes....The other was in jeggings to long for a high ankle shoe in black with jeans. The brown pair of his shoes would look much better with jeans...and that is no a personal choice. Ask anybody who knows how to style a look would put the brown shoe with the jeans.... The length of that dress with those shoes whose design is high on the ankle was a disaster...it would have looked better with a short skirt. This happens all the timewith the choices of the QVC stylist...his/her choices are invariably awful.... I prefer when the designer exercises some control over what their models are wearing. ...check out the video to see if I am exaggerating. ... what was that stylist thinking...Nothing this stylist ever styles gets me to buy one thing. Terrible! I am sure there are those who will differ from my point of view and that is fine. I was just fed up and had to say something.
