I have the same problem, bust fits fine, too tight around the hips.  I have gotten a couple of blouses from Iman and Wendy Williams and they work great for me.

Well, one other thing I always do is check the garment measurements. Unlike QVC which overkills with the measurements, HSN"s are straightforward, and I can check what the "sweep" will be.

@151949  Do you pay attention to the "click here"  garment measurements before you place your order?  That should alleviate return problems.   Perhaps some styles just aren't for you.   Not everyone can wear everything.

I have a problem with that too but the problem is my larger middle than I used to have.  It is old age spread.  Not the blouse--the wearer!  LOL!  I think Susan's clothes are cut for "more mature" ladies. . .

You're in denial.  Since you have this problem with  ALL button down shirts, it's obviously not ALL shirts that are the problem.....it's your body.  Leave the bottom button open.

Re: QVC & button front blouses

Look for traditional shirt tail blouses rather than the even hemline all the way around. That should accommodate your hips

I agree. I buy lots of button down tops and cardigans. I check the garment measurements every single time and that makes a difference. I'd never order anything based only on size. The garment measurements tell you if/how something will fit.

I clearly stated in the original pist that I only have this issue with blouses purchased from QVC. So I guess your right -n I just don't have a QVC body.I'm better off buying elsewhere, and I do.

For many decades, I have not bought a single button front blouse:  can't stand the see through side view between the button closures.

I had noticed this on seminar leader and that was the end.

Don't miss them at all because I have so many beautiful pullover tops, tunics and sweaters.

@jlkz

Sounds more like the seminar leader was wearing a blouse that was a bit too small for her (not enough wearing ease).

Re: QVC & button front blouses

I've been conditioned over the years to stay away from the crisp button down even though I like the look because I'm an hourglass and I always have the issue of gaping over the boobs if it fits in the waist. I think the invention of spandex is the best thing to happen to the button down shirt!
