If I wanted to get my tinsel in a tangle I could think of a few more important things than someone's lips. Jeez.

Dont think anyone's Tinsel is tangled.it's an observation about a very common lip pursing thing that lots of women do trying to be glamorous and sexy. It's ridiculous looking and funny. Everything we post about out need not be important. Every comment that points out an annoyance is not bullying.

And there is one model that seems never moves to show the apparel from more angles than just the front. Because you can't trust the Q's sizing to be consistent, I like to scrutinize potential problem areas on the models such as the back across the hips, the upper arms, etc. I like Jackie (similar to my size) because she moves and I can judge if there may be size issues by how things fit her. But, one of the plus size women just stands there like a statue. Oh well, I'm sure they are all very nice ladies and do a better job of modeling than I could ever do and their duck lips, bra lines, failure to turn, yada, yada,....keeps our attention and forum posts, and orders rolling on.

I don't think it's the models' fault. It seems that when Jacque and Maria (brunette) are given pieces that are too small, they can't turn around or have to wear a jacket. Otherwise we would see that the item doesn't look good and wouldn't buy it.

Can't believe someone would be so distracted by lips ... most times the models are shot from a distance. If you can't concentrate on the item being presented, then maybe you're the one with the problem.

Come on Sparkle, even you have an opinion or a thought occasionally that people don't agree with. Yes it is distracting when she is standing there with those dumb sun gasses and her lip stuck out.

I believe the OP was making an observation, not bullying AND I agree, even my DH noticed the lips and said "What is she supposed to be"

bullying is ,in my opinion, waay overused these days.

It most certainly is! Any time some one gets their nose out of joint they say it is bullying.

Pucker lips is what Rene Zellwinger does, this model goes way beyond puckering. This of course is MHO.

I have heard Chaz Dean and Isaac Mizrahi "scold" models using the "trout pout",

Never paid attention to the ""duck lips"" but I really have noticed the difference between the QVC models and HSN models. The HSN models have one pose with one leg splayed out to the side. The QVC models are just so much more natural. HSN usually shows just one plus size model way in the back. Close-ups of the plus size girl last about a nanosecond. So you really can't tell much of anything about fit. The rest if them are super skinny and that is just not realistic. One model I miss seeing on QVC is LindaKay. I surmise that she may have retired as she was older but I sure would love to have her figure!!

I can't imagine paying so much attention to detail that a model's LIPS detract me from whatever fashion they are wearing. I don't think the camera's are on them all that long to focus on the facial features for that long. But if it is so, I'm not going to sit and make a big deal out of it. This is really nit-picking to the nth degree There is so much more in life to give cause to than to detail this thing, I hardly think it worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things.
