60% of my wardrobe is white.  What to do?  OH,I know, keep wearing my white shirts, T's, pants and shoes.  I own 1 pair of black slacks, a very beautiful YELLOW blouse with a black line down the sleeve, and let's see..............OH! a pair of black canvas tennis shoes, no a flat canvas shoe.  White and COLOR is my favorite.  I dont care what season it is, if I want to wear whatever color I want to wear, I wear it.  However I am a southern California beach babe transplant to AZ.  I am in my last last year of the 60's.   OH NOW I AM SEVERELY DEPRESSED!!!!!!!   tedEbear

I don't care what is fashionable today I don't wear optic white after Labor Day. I didn't put away my white jean jacket though, but that's not bright white. I put away my summer tote and white cross body bag and now I carry my hunter green tote and black cross body bag. Creature of habit. LOL

I don't have much white; I have white jeans and a white blazer.  I never bought into "wear white all year" rule but I also don't think we have to put our summer whites away the day after Labor Day either.  If the weather is hot, sunny and summer-like; I think we can still wear our summer whites.  So, I haven't put mine away yet.  It's going to be in the mid and high 80's through Friday.  So, I'll probably wear my white jeans one more time.  I don't think we'll have any 80 plus degree days after this week.

Eeek!  I've turned into my mother!  i don't wear white this time of year.  Once school starts, it just seems like white is no longer appropriate and the temperatures are just too erratic.  For instance, today it is 85 degrees and warm,  If it weren't so windy, it would be a beautiful summer day.  However, last Saturday night we went to dinner with friends and it was too cool to eat outside on a rooftop (and I made sure I was dressed to stay warm and had a wrap).

Living in a four season environment, I have come to the conclusion that the hardest months to dress are April/May and September/October.
