On a Denim & Co. show they had a $3 off a second one. I had to laugh. Yep. Another $3.50 shipping for that second one. They sound foolish.

Yes and when there is a free shipping day,  prices on a "sale" item go up.  They think we don't pay attention...

Another great place to buy basics is Land's End.  I am a long time customer and imo you can't beat their supima cotton tees, sleepwear, etc. for quality and price. They also have insane sales going the past few weeks.

Off to check out Talbots!

BTW, I think I noticed prices at Q more since I stopped doing easy pay.  I rarely use it anymore therefore I don't buy as much as I used to.  Also, no petites on tops is a "no" for me.  I used to go ahead and get med tops but I'm tired of them being too long.

If you go online, today everything is 60% off sale price. Lots of inventory online.

I cannot wear Lands End. I am too curvy and they cut their clothing for a straighter figure.

I loved Still Raining’s comment on how she decided to make one final purchase of a few pairs of athletic shoes for walking in, and then stopped all clothes buying after that. I love that; that’s what I need to do.  She is right that we have enough clothes, and buying more is not necessary for most of us (and I think that’s because most of us know we have enough clothes to last us years if we would wear them regularly) but I’m like a lot of people, where I have kind of a lot of clothes, well, more than I actually need, but I have my favorites and just wear that same 10% of them over and over.

I think the prices of QVC clothes are high too. Sunday night I was watching Denim & Co., and I really liked the bright pink active top that Monifa was wearing. So then four days later I broke down (today) and decided to order it, and then I ordered another Denim & Co. Active top (it appeared on the screen how it says “you might also like this”) and this one I had remembered and seen/liked from ages ago, and it was on clearance now and they still had the blue color I liked so I got that too, and that was a complete impulse buy. So I mean just for those two tops, after I placed my order today it came to $93, and that’s a lot of money, and it really doesn’t seem right for just two athletic tops, but I really wanted them! and justified it by thinking, “well now I can donate some other tops I have that are older and that I don’t like as much, and I like walking outside so I can wear these two new ones outside”.  Plus I really like the thickness and quality of Denim & Co. Active items. So I think, ok now it’s 2026 and I’m completely accepting that everything is very expensive and won’t be getting any cheaper, so I just need to plan out any clothes buying that I do, and put a lot of thought into it before I buy another article of clothing.

I had the need this week to pull two light jackets out of my

closet ... and I thought at the time ... how I miss Blair...

Appleseeds and Demaon and Draper .... not top of the

line but nice enough and good fill in pieces .....great tank

tops for 10 dollars I wore as PJ tops or under jackets ...

what to do ,....As per another poster ... I have enough

now to make it through a couple of years ... won't look

like a fashionista ... but I'll be dressed !!!!!

I have mentioned here many times that J Jill is one of my long time go to for quality clothing.  They have great sales often.

I agree prices for what you get at QVC in Fshion is ridicuoiouls.  But if everyone why wants to blame tariffs then why did items that have been sitting in my wish list for over 5 or 6 months suddenly rise in price, there were no tariffs on those.

I think they do think thier customers are not aware, but many are not because Belle keeps going higher and higher, quliaty and top lenghts keep getting smaller and smaller  and they are still selling out at the ridicioulus prices ( they order less, create a order frenzy and sell out, instead of making more more money by order more (that drops the pricee) and allow more people buy at a more reasonable price.

But inventory regarless of where it stored is expensive ant that is a lot of QVC financial problems when you dont get it cleared (accounting basics)  So regardless that they dont have floor space they still need to move old merchandise and not  rise the price to try to make it look new.  Or give $2 off  clearnace and threaten people it may go up in the future.  you bet better off wiating for a free ship day and pay the clearance price than paying the clearance sale price and shipping.

I guess some people have a lot more disposable money than I do to pay for QVC pricing games

Yes, the prices everywhere are terrible. I have Parrots and I went to purchase food at the Avian Vet. They did not have any. They said there was a shortage of seeds used to make the food. Most seed come from another country.

I found some on Amazon. $25 for 3.5 pounds of food. Yikes. I looked back and the same bag of for was $17 in November. That is ridiculous.
