I have a pair from Dillards... I did size down and I do not ever wear tight pants.

'Problem is'......I'm not a fan of the tight-ness at the backside cr*tch area.

 

Seems too tight in that area.

 

Maybe the rise is too short back and under there?

 

I know, they 'stretch' to fit, etc.

 

Oh, well.  That's 'just 'me' thinking and talking.

I'm always suspect about the "size down" thing with jeans. I just her my regular size and they usually fit. If they tell you to size down in very prouct, then they need to change their  sizing assignment.

NYDJ has always done this. I bought some at Dillards  Dept. Store years ago & they had signs telling you to size down. That's their M.O.
