Thanks for that encouragement! So sweet of you.

I  look back at pictures of myself when I was young and realize now that I looked great, but I saw myself as HUGE because I was a pear-shaped girl who had to wear size 9s & 11s (jrs). when it seemed like all my busty friends were wearing 5s & 7s.

I love fringe (one at a time)

I wear short cut-off shorts

In summer I wear the "one size" sun dresses (mostly from Ross, I work at home)

 PJs are "shorties" even in the winter, never night gowns

Comparing yourself to others is difficult on your self esteem. 

If everyone was the same shape that would be boring. 

Others look at you and say

I wish I had her .........

You look at others and wish you had........ 

Here's my thoughts

Two years ago I would have been thrilled to wear an XL

The doctors told me I would never lose the weight because of the type of medication I was taking 

Clothing tags are misleading. One brands XL may be another brands L. 

Don't let negative self talk tell you lies. 

Dress to please yourself and not others. 

When you feel confident and happy it shows in everything you do. 

Don't let clothing size tags prevent you from buying clothing that you like.

You need outfits to wear with your handbags too ❤️

Sometimes I wear a very supportive sports bra in public rather than a real bra. And I don't mean under workout clothes. Since buying an underwire free breezies bra I may have kicked that habit.

@ Quackeroo I was the same way for a long time finally I realized no more buying junk clothes for the hope I'll lose weight soon. I now buy what I like but I'm still on that mission to lose weight. But you will feel better about yourself when your wearing nice clothes. Don't hide yourself because you think you will lose weight soon, because you think you don't deserve it. Treat yourself as you are a beautiful deserving woman regardless of your size.

I own a winter coat that has real fur on it. It's only around the hood and I can't remove it. The coat is so nice and warm and I don't want to give it up. I feel guilty when I wear it...maybe I shouldn't but still. It's coyote fur.

I very much appreciate your thoughts. I needed to hear them. I am working through some major changes in my life & sometimes, during such transitions, I become my own worst enemy.  

Got a chuckle out of the handbag comment.  I guess handbags and shoes aren't quite enough by themselves are they?  Haha!

Oh my goodness! Is that a pic of a BOSTON?  I love them!! 

Had one growing up and have one now.

Smartest dogs ever.  Only negative issue is their touchy digestive system.

And thanks for the advice.  I need to stop living in "when I lose weight" mode and start living in the now.  It's a much more sane way to live.
