I recently stopped at the dry cleaner to have a dress taken in (just around the armpits), and it is going to cost $15.00. The little sun dress cost me less than $10.00 on EBAY. I know you take the chance with things not fitting properly when you buy on EBAY, but that's water under the bridge now. I didn't want to just toss the dress, so I decided to have it taken in. I frequently need items hemmed or taken in, and I just got to wondering if there was any kind of machine (nothing elaborate) out there that would serve my purpose. Years ago, as a teenager, I tried to learn to sew and never got the hang of it. So, I'm probably going to need something that is relatively easy to operate. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!
