I am an XL-1X now myself.
I agree that more plus size models would be great.
The other thing I wish for is more/better long pants. I am only 5'8" but I'm all legs so I need a 34 inch inseam, maybe 33 inches. Some of the Qs talls are the right length but they are ALWAYS way, way too high in the rise. They come up to my armpits. Uwearable. I have never had this problem with tall pants at other stores. At Lane Bryant for example, the talls are a little too long and I have to have them hemmed an inch or two and they still come up just to my waist. I have also had luck with the fit at Eddie Bauer. But at both this stores it seems like my size in the talls is so rarely in stock. Would be great to have the Q selection if they fit right...

You will never see 2 or 3X models on QVC. Their aim is not for you to see how you would look in clothing but to sell it. A larger woman simply doesn't show off clothing to its best advantage, so they'll do a token XL or 1X and call her a plus size but that's as big as you're going to get.
QVC really should consider the 4X suggestion. I just read that plus sizes are becoming "the norm". I've noticed that the "oversized" Denim & Co. pieces are the first to sell out.

Although I am not a plus size, I understand why it is important to have some models in the largest sizes sold, it just makes sense to me. HSN has a blonde plus-size model, she looks good!
It's why I like to see Meredith model some things, even though I am several inches taller, we're similarly endowed on top and not all tops look that good. If she looks cute in a top, I know I will, too. Seeing the itty-bitty you-know-what club models wear something doesn't help me at all. I mean, really, what doesn't Katia ever look good in? Well, maybe some SG ankle-biter pants.

I remember when the Q didn't carry a lot of XL. The sizes in most cases went from Large to 1X. But enough of the XL women spoke up and they changed it. Now there is XL in just about everything.
Plus sized ladies keep advocating for yourselves. The rest of us are with you. ![]()

Mindy D, just saw your post/thread. Haven't read all the way thru...but while it was on my mind-just wanted to wish you well. Hope you are feeling better and on your way to healthy restoration!

More tall pants w/inseam of 34", dresses at least 45" from top of back to botom of skirt.
If Susan Graver is continuing to be exclusive to the Q, she needs to have more tall pants. I think she doesn't do so because it cost her more to make longer pants and her profit line isn't as great with talls.
SG needs to make her swing dresses about 45" in length.
Definately longer jackets. I don't like the ones that cut me off and I will not layer with something "peeking" out from underneath.
Joan Rivers jackets/blazers as with QF are very pretty, but too short for me and probably for a lot more ladies. The jackets need to be offered in a 29 1/2 inches to 29 3/4 inches in length.

I have previously read that the Q is hiring plus size models which is great. However, they also need to be short, not just 5'7" and taller. There also needs to be busty plus size not just large hips. Depending on the manufacturer I can wear from an XL to a 3x and as far as I am concerned the Q size chart means absolutely nothing. These cannot even be considered standard size measurements. My other issue is length, please stop making lengths in 28" and above. Unless you are 5'8" and above a 28" length looks terrible on a short person. I may be short and wear a plus size but a 28" length is ridiculous on me. I have a Quacker top I purchased years ago, 1X that is 26" long and it's just perfect.

I'm sitting here watching the LIz C. show and when they were presenting the denim jacket the host got all rattled when she asked the Liz C. vendor if she was wearing the xsmall and the host said "no, the xxs" and the gal said "oh, well, I could probably wear that too if it was out I have on the Xs" and you could tell she was upset because the other older gal had on the xxs. LOL
get over yourself, ladies.
