lol!

Nope, no add. I do find it distracting for some reason.

Aziza, I STILL have two pairs of TL sunglasses. One is tortoise the other is red. I have the lenses changed every so often. The eyeglass place always warns me that they might break when they change the lenses. Mine are big squares with the gold corners.

I love sunglasses as much as the next person and I wear them every day when I'm outdoors or driving the car but when I'm inside, I pop those sunglasses on the top of my head or put them in my handbag. You aren't the only one who thinks that the sunglasses all the time to model clothes looks stupid because... it does look stupid!

The IM line is also sold in Canada on TSC and I'm just waiting for one of the models to fall off the "runway" stairs when they are modeling in sunglasses.

True. and yet essentially we ARE watching Walmart live!

I agree that presenting the fashions in a runway show manner helps make it more enjoyable to watch, but the fact remains is the purpose of having the models on QVC is to show fit and movement. We can't see how a jacket fits if it's thrown over someone's shoulder.

In a true runway show the buyers who are buying for stores are generally going to order a revised version of the look for their stores. The handful of the exact runway versions the elite stores (I'm talking Bergdorf elite) will buy, and those lucky individuals in attendance who place an order will be custom fitted so it doesn't matter how the model wore it on the runway.

I realize why the jackets are frequently draped over the shoulders instead of worn....it's because the jackets don't fit well on some of the models and it's pretty likely that the dresses and/or tops don't fit well either. it's a stylist trick to disguise boxy and ill fitting clothes. I saw this technique being used on a top heavy plus sized model n Canada, the sample jackets couldn't be fastened because the jacket was too small on her so they took it off and did the drape on the shoulders look instead.

I agree. I keep wanting to see their eyes. After all, they are NOT mannequins, as another replay stated. I do not think the sunglasses help to sell the clothes.

I do not like the sunglasses either. It is getting ridiculous to see sunglasses on the models. The model Jackie needs to get hair extentions or something because when she wears it in a pony tail it looks very, very thin. While I am suggesting .....Jackie and the models need to self tan their white legs when they are wearing shorts or skirts instead of lily white skin. I don't mean to be unkind, but suggesting something that the stylists are missing this.

He's selling the glasses as well. They are part of his accessories online for purchase.

Ummm....who hasn't worn a great sweater draped over her shoulders on a cool night? How Hepburn.

And girls-really! anyone in a sunny place or snowy place should be wearing good eye protection--YEAR ROUND!! Its like a sunblock for your eye. It not only looks super chic and very money-but it also make tons of sense.

He offers those of us (maybe even those who are Walmarties) some real chic ideas at a very reasonable price. I luv him. He loves me! I know it by all the little hints he gives me just for watching him on my TV! Smiley Happy

The Isaac Mizrahi sunglasses aren't sold in Canada on TSC though and they've never been available to buy from there so it's hard to understand why the Canadian models are constantly wearing them when they are wearing the clothing line.
