They look like gauchos to me.

I might wear a pair with a fitted sweater and boots.

But it's generally not my favorite silhouette.

for those who like this look, would you wear the type of shoes shown?  for me, its a odd look, not something that i would wear, but styled differently?

I have and wear my wide leg crop jeans with 3” heeled boots.  I like them without showing skin, and wear them with a great sweater or cardigan.  They are medium shade denim with a 2”-wide tuxedo strip in darker denim color down the leg.  I love them. 

I never wore them in the spring/summer.  So these photos with no socks and slip on shoes are giving me styling tips. Not sure I’ll wear them like that, but I might.
