I am watching the Denim & Co. show right now.  My question is, if they can offer sizes 5X in tops; why can't they offer petite tops?  The tunic top at the beginning of the show would hit me just above the knees.

I hear you.  I'm not even considered a petite because I have a 32" inseam, however, I am just over 5'4", so I have a short torso.  Even on me, I often feel overwhelmed in the average length tunics.  I imagine a genuinely petite person would feel ridiculous in something that long.

Having been on these boards from day one, I can tell you that we petites have been complaining for many years. It’s not just an issue of pants inseams. It’s the rise on pants, the length of tops and sleeves, the overall proportions.

@Vivian They have been promising almost since day one too. I will not hold my breath. If it does not come in petite sizing I do not buy it. There was one vendor that looked into the camera and said it was her goal to always offer every single item in her line in petites. She is still here and she still has not accomplished her goal. LOL I do remember when QVC had a separate fashion channel and more petites were available, but there were many more vendors also back then.

They do offer some petites, probably more than they do the plus sizes.  I haven't seen any 4X or 5X pants.  At any rate what the have for pluses has nothing to do with petites.  Pluses are the most underserved customers. 

It is the buyers, not the vendors, who decide what sizes will be ordered.

It is particularly needed for plus size folks because QVC makes them add 2-3 inches in length on plus sizes!! Apparently they assume all plus size women are tall.
