I had a beautiful brown leather sherling coat about 30 years ago. I wore it when it was very cold. It eventally got to big and I gave it to charity

I must be the only person who has not seen Almost Famous nor is familiar with the term Penny Lane Coat.  I like the style but it's not something I would wear.

I'd wear it! And I'm old. I had one in the 70s, tan with dark trim, and loved it. I've moved too many times to keep things that I haven't worn in a while but sure wish I had mine again. Red makes such a nice statement.
