Re: Pats blue striped blouse on Calista program?

[ Edited ]

When shown on air it looked like a pair of pajamas.

I recently got a "beach coverup" they showed early in that show.  I think it's their petal knit fabric.  No way would I wear it out of the house.  Cheesy, overly stretchy fabric that hangs like a wet dishrag.  I'm using it as a nightgown.

OK...I admit that my snooty relatives call me "cheap"...but if an item is something I'm gonna wear in the yard...or watching TV...or shopping at Kroger...it will be something from the clearance rack  at the local strip mall...     di

@Goldengate8361  I like it. I saw a clip of the blouse on Pat with navy pants and thought she looked bright and summery. After seeing the picture with the matching pants I could see how some may feel it rather 'pajamay' (I made up a word👌) I see why you like it.

Yipes, is the nicest thing I can say about that outfit.  At least the price is decent!

Why make that comment when another poster obviously likes the outfit, @kaydee50?

I think the top, and even with the matching bottom was cute. Here I thought matching tops and bottoms was on trend again.

@Kachina624, I often intentionally buy swimsuits cover ups to wear around the house or to bed. But mine have always been cotton offerings from Land's End when the have their dirt cheap 70% off sales.

I thought matching sets were trending too. I wore matching skirt and pant suits back in the day, but I would never wear printed matched tops and bottoms. Some of those sets can look a bit like pjs or beach wear. I'm sure some women can pull off that look. Just not for me.

Matching sets are definitely trending, I've seen quite a few in stores and online.

I think the solid sets look chic. I've been wanting to buy one and give it a try. I used to wear matching pant suits years ago.

The printed top and bottom sets are a bit much for me. I like a printed top with a solid color on the bottom. I do wear printed dresses though.

Hope You Both have a Good Week!
