I have always liked and look great in paperbag waist pants.

I don't like any of those that were posted. They look sloppy. I like more tailored waists...not elastic and drawstrings. Yuck!

I have an hourglass figure, so this type of waist helps to make my waist to hip ratio look balanced.

Oddly enough I wear the paper bag waist the best of any.

Probably because with the higher waist my legs loo9 longer!

I've always loved paper bag waisted pants, shorts, skirts.

I'm the one who needs and likes a long length rise from waist to crotch.

Many people comment on my 'long legs'.

Higher waistbands seem to lengthen the legs, imo.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I like paper bag waist pants and have a couple pairs. They're comfy & I can tuck tops in if I want to.

I'm not fond of the legs or ankles - the overly wide, the high slits, or the gathered ankle - of any of the pants the OP pictured except the cargo pair.

Everyone's taste is different.
