No one lives long in the fashion industry sitting on their laurels. And I wasn't in love with Pam when she had laurels.

So far, from all the talk about the "new" Shop, it's sounding dismally old to me. I'd expect them to get a little bounce bringing back names from the past, but how long does that last?

Will people just look out of curiosity or will they come and buy? I know my answer already.

I'm not into faux leather and fortunately I don't need anymore leather coats or jackets but will watch the show out of curiosity.

Around the time that she left Shopnbc I thought I read something about an issue with the license to use Tissavel faux fur. I think I saw one of the designers over on HSN using Tissavel faux fur I may be wrong.

...I really miss Pamela McCoys line of Tissavel coats. I think I have at least 4 and also several leather jackets from her line. I don't get that channel anymore but I check the website frequently and can watch live shows there. Looking forward to seeing her again.

Tissavel! I completely forgot about those beautiful creatures. I just missed them every time, somehow. I hope Pam does well. Her line of leather jackets were amazing back then, but alas, they too were made for people much shorter than I. I'd just die for longer sleeves, and a waist where my own waist is, not 3-4 inches too high. - Bird

I have many of Pam McCoy's leather and suede jackets and skirts as well as many of her Tissavel faux fur coats (I lucked out on great sale prices when Shopnbc was eliminating the Pam McCoy collection{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}). I have been very pleased with the quality of the pieces I own -- the lamb leather is still incredibly soft and the Tissavel coats are warm and feel like real fur (although I like the look of fur, I choose not to wear real fur). Most of my Pam McCoy leather, suede, and faux fur pieces still look new after years of wear (I do try to take good care of all my things).

Hopefully the new collection will have the same quality as the "old" Pam McCoy collection ... thankfully I have more than enough so I'll look but I don't plan to buy {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Her leather and suedes were great. I never bought her faux furs. But any of her regular clothing I bought like tops and dresses were horrendous. I sent them all back.

I have to say that as time went on, her clothing was beginning to decline in quality. The coats and jackets were of very high quality for TV shopping fare. You can't say that about Kate and Mallory/One World/Addressing Woman. Some of her clothing I couldn't wear, because I am more on the petite side.

Have a funny feeling that her new line won't be the same. Smiley Sad

Looking at the sneak peek items they showed it doesn't even look like something she would do.

Pam designs beautiful coats. If she's still using factories in China, I just wish they'd sew the buttons on properly.

I enjoyed Pam and Wes from many years ago. I bought a tanzanite ring from them. Their whole hour shows were comprised of 5/6 items but they had quality things and my tanzanite is a beautiful rich color.

Anyway, I also bought two of Pam's furs and two leather jackets. All great quality. Never purchased her clothing beyond that.

I look forward to seeing her.

I like her coats, but she is oddly uncomfortable for me to look at. I wish she would calm down with the plastic surgery and injections.
