LandsEnd has temperature ratings on their jackets ... check them out.  Surprisingly warm for such thin, lightweight jackets.  Primaloft is a fab product.

I have three of these jackets and I love them.  They are warm, but can be worn indoors when shopping and still feel comfortable.

 

I got some great deals on mine too.  They have them in misses, petite, woman's and woman's petite, so they fit almost everyone.
