Just watching my recorded PM Style w/ Jane T. During the Vince Camuto crossbody bag presentation, she said it’d be perfect for pumpkin picking!
I get my pumpkin from a corner stand, near my house. It definitely doesn’t require changing my bag or a special outfit. Besides, Oct. 31st is two months away. 🎃

I'm already on the lookout for a pumpkin to pick out and put in my yard. I'll start with the first one I see and go from there, putting any and all neat ones I see in the front flower beds!
Sometimes the first ones go bad and have to be replaced but that's part of the fun. I buy from local churches, garden stores and anywhere I see a neat one! Sometimes Whole Foods has some great ones at good prices--unusual from the more common round ones and pumpkin color ones!
It's fun!

@Shanuslol I think certain sales lines must show up on the hosts' "tickle lists." Are they all into fall topics?
I'm not headed to the pumpkin fields at all, but I have been looking at my sunpatients and wishing for mums, so I guess it's time for fall talk. I just don't have to buy a new tote, sweaters, scarves, etc. But that's me and I'm not anyone's target shopper right now.

If QVC thought that their pumpkin schtik would work in February, they'd use it.

@Shanus, thanks for the laugh! It reminded me of the days hubby and I used to plant pumpkins in the garden for the grandkids. One year we must have planted them way too early as they were getting pretty big by August and taking up way too much real estate, crowding my corn, tomatoes, peppers, etc. We decided to pull them out.
That year about a week before Halloween my oldest grandson called and said, "nanna, mommy said we're going to spend the weekend at your house. Can we pick our pumpkins and carve them?" "Why sure you can kiddo," I replied. I took myself to Shop Rite, bought a bunch of pumpkins, put them in the garden and when the kids came, they ran down and "picked" their pumpkins. Turns out Shop Rite didn't care what I wore while I pumpkin picked, they just wanted their good old USDs!

It just doesn't bother me, maybe because I know a fair number of people who actually do go pumpkin picking. Same with apple picking -- in certain areas, it's not uncommon.

People around here actually do go pumpkin and apple picking, so that sales tactic doesn't sound as absurd around here.I can't wait for all the pumpkin spice products to hit the shelves. lol

In my area ,there are places dedicated to make pumpkin picking ,an event. They have haunted houses ,and all sort of fun things to do
So yes, I would try to look smart, if I was going to one of these events
