I love Carolyn Gracie's voice. It is so well modulated and tone is superb. I could listen to her all day. She has beautiful inflections, nice descriptions, detailed and good vocabulary. She has a natural selling technique that is not offensive. I think Carolyn would bring back attention to the product instead of the host. She's just a super professional host with great selling technique. She may not be the perfect "model" image for style, but that is not necessary for the position of selling. I always thought it unnecessary for the host to put the clothes on. That's why they have models.

I could do Carolyn Gracie too ... Anyone who shows the product and it's not all about her, her children, her sisters and brothers, aunt, uncles, personal dog trainers ... Long lost cousins from Ireland ... I think you catch my drift ... Carolyn would be good too ...

I don't care who hosts PM Style if they don't upgrade the inventory they're presenting! Lisa was an excellent host, but the lineup of merchandise they gave her was repetitious and boring.......and much of it couldn't be construed as "style" in any meaningful way. There are any number of people who could headline the show and make a success of it if they have interesting, fun fashions to offer.

If they just keep running through the same tired offerings from D&Co, "No Wiggle, No Jiggle", and Susan Graver, intermixed with hair removers, Clarisonics, socks, curling irons, and foundation garments.......what difference does it make who hosts? I'm not watching that anyway.

Sandra . . . that's it.

Or Jayne, but only if they can't get Sandra.

While I am definitely in Sandra's corner for being the regular host of PMS, I very much agree with taja's comments about Carolyn. Every new host should have to study an audio tape of Carolyn. Not everyone will have Carolyn's vocal quality, but copying her manner and delivery has nothing to do that.

My preference for a PM Style host would be to bring back Kathy Levine. Now that would be a show! Barring that, I'd choose a host that knows fashion, doesn't stumble over words, and has a voice that isn't like nails on a chalkboard. Possibilities: Jayne Brown, Carolyn Gracie, Jill, Sharon or Alberti.

They should move Amy's late night program to the PM Style time slot. Her show is unique and on trend. Plus Amy has a good sense of style and looks good in everything.

I don't think Alberti has any experience with PMS.

Nice ""play on words"".......And how true....
