Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@SouthFlorida321 Did you ever wind up ordering the Laurie Felt (HIH) TSV jeans? Well I am wearing them in small in the pic. I ordered the small bc in the past her mediums were too big. These suckers are tighter than G’s smalls. 😏 They did give some after about 10-15 min’s but not enough to be comfortable enough for me I think (remember I hate feeling too constricted). They do stretch a lot when bending etc, but if they were just a tad bigger. The sizing jump is quite a lot to medium so I am aftraid they’ll be too big like her last ones. Also, you can see the length comes to the top of my boots so they seem shorter than the stated 28in inseam length. 🤔 Hmmm.... I will probably try to exchange for medium, we’ll see, it’s free. But....evertyhings sold out right now. Ugh!!!!🤬E94EB03D-8492-449F-8F86-7FF306FDA0B2.jpeg

Whoa. I never saw that Boston Proper B & W top before. Would look good with a pair of my black leather pants. Thanks for the tip.

@StylishLady

Pretty hot huh? Apparently it's a new arrival. I really like it but I also know myself and I'm afraid that one sleeve thing is going to drive me nuts!

I think it would look great on you!

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

@AmericanBulldogMom Hi,  No I decided to pass on them after watching several presentations. I was not a fan of the "legging" like looking fabric.  I was interested in the white to tuck into my over the knee boots.  They are really short!  Her sizing is still not the same.  When she first started at the Q I ordered an XS bootcut and they were huge, had to return.  I then ordered a skinny pair just like what you have one (I do not remember if it was called "silky") in S, a bit loose, but they were so short and looked like "highwater pants" and leg opening was very big. I can't stand that look especially when you have slim ankles.

Honestly, I think the M will be too big on you, but like you said if it doesn't cost anything so it's worth a try.  I want to caution you.  Each size you go up on her jeans the leg opening gets about a 1/2 inch wider.  Check the size charts.  I don't know why they do that.

It will not be a skinny jean anymore, but a "straight" leg and a short one too....omg...lol.

I don't think this particular model is for taller women like us, but let's wait and see.Woman Happy

@SouthFlorida321 Ack! If the leg opening gets bigger thats too wide for the short length of these. I’m not even going to bother. You talked me out of it. Thanks!! I am honestly bummed - I fear G is done and was hoping these could be a good replacement. Ho hum.....

@AmericanBulldogMom I know, not a good look ----  I tried it!Woman Surprised "M" is going to be too big, but forget that, it's the big leg opening.  I said to myself when I was packaging them for return that they should be called "straight" leg jeans.

Don't worry, G might be done,  I give her until Spring before that door is shut, but Laurie will get into her groove in time.

I think the Q has big plans for her, she is very likable and had an excellent line and following at HSN. I loved her jeans, and @MacDUFF would have loved them too.

Soon she will start making lengths again for all of us, I really believe it!Woman Very Happy

 PS,  We need a minimum of 30" inseam for "skinny", 31-32" for "straight".

Re: Outfit of the day, if you dare!

I guess this could have been in "Those Boots Were Made for Wearin': thread, but I'll post it here. Another chilly Sunday had me break out a pair of OTK boots over black leggings (not leather) a cowl neck sweater, wool fringed wrap, silver chain necklace, gloves, and bag. Wore to church and breakfast. Up next is late afternoon dinner. Got compliments which are nice. Hope everyone back north is keeping warm and safe.
