I had the show on in the background as I cleaned house this morning....occasionally I would switch channels....just got tired a couple of times when SG was talking over Pat...I am used to it since I have been watching for a long time. I find it refreshing when Pat continues to talk even tho Susan is trying to one up her...yes I know she is very excited about her line and that is great, it shows she enjoys her job and is proud of her work so I just switch programs for a bit....
I'm self confident, cute, in pretty decent shape and definitely not jealous of her just making an observation and agreeing others that feel the same way.

SG does that. Sometimes I have to force myself to ignore or "tune out" the behavior of certain vendors (and hostesses) and just focus on the items they're selling. I try to concentrate on how the products will benefit me. If they're yapping too much and I can't "think straight", then off they go!

She is showing a new brushed back jacket on her show right now. I am wearing her brushed back top with drawstrings. It's a comfy material, but again, quality issues. I machine washed/tumbled dried. The drawstrings are all frayed now! It's so frustrating b/c I paid $56 for it. Oh yeah, two buttons fell off of it while I was taking it out of the packaging. I really hope Susan reads this thread.
I like to try her new fabrics/designs, but when you keep getting inferior quality, you tend to stop buying.

I was taken aback with Susan's hyper behavior when I first saw her on QVC......but over time I've realized that's her personality. She is genuinely enthusiastic about her clothing, enjoys presenting and explaining it........and the energy just comes out! Since the Susan Graver line is one of QVC's longest-running and most successful fashion lines, it's very unlikely that anyone will try to change her on-air personality. Susan has bounced, danced, twirled, and chirped through many millions of dollars of sales. Why mess with success?

I suspect the real problem some you have with her is that she's rich, small, cute, happy and self confident. Drives you bonkers!!! lol Well, she's QVC's highest grossing clothing vendor and she's been with QVC longer than any other clothing vendor. What does that tell you? If you don't like the woman, don't watch her or put your tv on mute when she's on. But I don't think SG is going to change her entire demeanor and personality just because handful of viewers have a problem with her. If ain't broke.....don't fix it.
Utter nonsense!

Well, she DID compliment Susan. That is the first time I have ever heard her say anything nice about anyone.

I watched at it this morning and didn't notice any unusual tension. Of course we all see what we see.
I think we all have had co-workers/ friends that get on our last nerve at times with quirks in personality (and we probably have been on the other side of that street) . Of course in the end we forgive and hang on to our friends. With co-workers I have focused on the end result--getting the job done. This is probably what QVC looks for too.

I think for the most part that Susan and Pat work well together. I like Susan, but have to agree that she has no filter, nothing to tell her when to let the other person talk, when not to "step" on the lines of the host, nothing to stop her from basically doing her bag of tricks (spinning, singing, twirling, chirping, interupting) in order to continually be the one being watched or heard. I don't know if it's compulsion, her personality or on purpose but it does get very, very old and as I said, I like Susan.
I agree, she's a QVC staple and makes millions for herself and the company, but can you imagine how much MORE she'd make if she'd control the uncontrollable aspect of her personality and customers didn't click her off? Again, I like Susan, I think she's a kind soul and I admire her tenacious energy and talent, but even I turn her off when she comes on because most of the time I can't take it.
I used to buy a ton of her clothes but haven't in a long time.... I find it sad, really.
