Thanks a bunch, Debbie. Please let me know how family things are, father/brother. Think about your situation a lot and would like to know.

I love the idea of old Hollywood glamour and agree that Audrey, Jackie O and Grace Kelly were all natural beauties. But I do wonder if we REALLY knew them at all? The old Hollywood publicists were much more protective of keeping actors' reputations squeaky clean. I remember hearing about dates being lined up for Rock Hudson and other gay actors. Movie studios had everything to say about where their contract talent could go, what they wore, who they dated. Their lives were very controlled by the movie studios. It was all a facade and we will probably never know who these people were, really.

Thanks for thinking of me, Name! I know I replied to you on some thread but you likely missed it. My dad lost his battle in November. It was a tough holiday season so we were all happy to welcome in the new year. There is so much to be grateful for and life must go on... Sending hugs your way!

Jackie Kennedy had a facelift--it was her 50th birthday gift to herself.

You have a wonderful attitude and I commend you for that because that's what gets you through the rough times. Dont you worry, soon you will be reading and writing again. BTW, when is your surgery scheduled?

I love Audrey Hepburn. My favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany's.

It is also in the clothes they wear--Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly were all impeccably dressed in classic clothing.

They were also extremely thin so the classic clothing looked good on them.
