I have 4 pairs of NYDJ jeans and I love them! Like any piece of clothing, some of their styles fit me and some don't. I did get the best fit from sizing down - 2 sizes for regular straight legged jeans and 1 size for skinny cuts.

When I sold NYDJ, the sizing was all over the place for different styles.  I gave up.

@ECBG - I tried and tried in the past. Sometimes I went down, sometimes I went up. It was always fit one place but not the other. I tried again when they came to QVC, but had no luck here either. So I finally gave up and told myself they just don't work for me.  Smiley Sad  But a lot of people rave about them.

I bought a pair of NYDJ at Chico’s in my usual pant size. They fit perfectly.

Hi, @colover !  I have a number of NYDJ jeans and I have found that I need to size down one size in those made in the US and buy my usual size for those made in China.  That said, it’s been a few years since I’ve bought any so my input may be more a historical note.  I do think NYDJ has great jeans although recently I’ve gotten two pair on HSN from Skinnygirl bleach wash with buttons down a center leg-front seam and DG2 classic stretch in aqua, more novelty styles/color.

they run big

and as a 5 3  size  0/2/4 woman when I was sized out of Petite 0 on a pair of them I gave up

the petites are too short in the inseam and regs way too long,  tops too big as well

who the customer is am not sure the "average women" that's is always talked about.    big sales rack at Bloomingdales so there are deals

I'm wearing more and more leggings now.  So tired of the ridiculous "sizing game"......It really should just go by the body measurements, doesn't that make more sense?  You would think by now with all the technology and different jean materials someone could master this!   I gave up trying on 12 pairs of jeans to find one pair that actually fits.  Just keeping what I already own and already know fits when I put them on!

I got the NYDJ TSV's a few months ago here and did size down one size from an 18 to 16 and lo and behold they fit and are one of my most flattering jeans.

I got black, and have found in the past in any brand that the various colors have variations in the sizes as well.

A 16 in black might be very different from a 16 in light wash denim, so I agree, totally frustrating trying to get the right size/fit in any jean lately.
