Today I visited Nordstrom Rack to make a return.  Okay, so it's Monday, the line was long for the six cashiers and when it was my turn, the cashier told me it is always busy.  I really did not look around this time but I did pick up a 10x magnification mirror on one side and regular mirror on the other and it swings arounds on its stand for $16.97.  That price really surprised me for 10x.  They had a lot of makeup for bargain prices -- Urban Decay, Stila and others.  Do you ever shop at the Nordstrom Rack?

They opened one in Albuquerque a couple years ago but I've never been in it, probably never will.  It's on the other side of town and not worth the drive.

Never! I've looked at their website because they send me emails daily. But their items are generally very limited esp. in my size.

I've been to one store several times.  I've spent hours looking for shoes but never can find the right size.  One of these days I will find a pair!  

Last time I was there I was so tempted by a Burberry raincoat.  I've picked up a few things over the years.  It's hit or miss, but I generally like shopping there.

I shop Nordstrom Rack online quite often. Always find great deals whether it be clothes, beauty items, handbags. Some items I've purchased have been as much as 75-80% off!

The way I see it, this country has always been obsessed with youth.  Although, everyone will face it, older than 40 is a sin.  

I've had good experiences shopping Nordstrom Rack online.  My style is classic and tailored.

I also have better luck shopping TJ Maxx online than in my local store.  It's aways busy and all the good stuff is picked out quickly.  

Retailers cater to local demographics and what they will buy.  So, what is carried in your Nordstrom Rack may be different than others.

I went once and was looking for clothes in petite sizes, which was very frustrating.  I'll have to go again when I can look around.

I think the key to shopping at Nordstrom Rack is go with no expectations. I have bought a few things there that I really like. Their camis are great. The brand is 14th & Union, which I believe is their house brand. I have five of them, and I love them. They're only 9.99 and they wash great, plus they're not too short. I'm 5'9", so I like when they don't ride up. I've gotten some really cute t- shirts too. I wouldn't go there looking for anything too specific (except the camis, they have them all the time) because I've found when I'm looking for something in particular, they never have it. So I like to keep an open mind and be surprised by what I find.

Most people rave about Nordstrom Rack, but I'm the exception.  I was on their email list online for about a year and they have a beautiful store in a new center in Vegas, but I never seem to find anything I like.  Their clothes and shoes are a bit too trendy for my taste and their beauty products are just not the right shade or look for me.  I tend toward classic clothing and my style is conservative.  Most of their merchandise seems to be directed at much younger people.
