I received mine in the creme/snake and it is definitely a beautiful bag but it is not perfect -- yet!
I work in NYC and this bag is just too cumbersome to hold in the crook of your arm and the handles are TOO SHORT to carry the bag comfortably on your shoulder so, Lisa, please make the handles longer and, while you're at it....
there's enough room on the sides of the bag for you to create vertical side zip pockets which would be almost invisible and not interfere with the overall profile of the bag. The pockets could have a mini version of the tassel, maybe one or two strands and the pockets would make it much more convenient to access little things like your keys, tickets, earphones, etc....
I hope you will consider these suggestions because it would really make this lovely bag much more user friendly, IMO

I don't have any problem carrying it on my shoulder....straps seem find for me, but one of the things I would change is the length of the tassel.....I think it's the same as they used on the original large Roma and it's just a little too long for my taste. I'm thinking about taking mine to the shoe repair man and having him shorten them an 1 or 2 inches. Other than that, the bag seems fine to me.

This was just my first impression......I'm going to carry it a while before doing anything.....I like the bag. No big deal if I want the tassel shortened a little.....he'd have the tools to do it correctly IF I DECIDE TO DO IT. Explanation enough??

really was not directed at you...just wondering out loud in general since others are considering the repair shops as well.

Tassels - Just take a pair of sharp scissors and cut each tassel string back to where you want it. I did that to a D&B bag and it looked a lot better. If you don't want tassels at all - cut the braid that's holding it.

She can just remove it. It's not permanently attached and I'm sure she already knows that
But if she wants the decoration the suggestion to use scissors to shorten is a good one. I'm considering that too!
