@DSD2 I agree with you completely.  I have been tempted!  I am just running hot these days, so need something more breathable.  Enjoy your pieces!

Yes, he had been using quite a bit of polyester, rayon, nylon, and mixes of two or three.  Several mixed with cotton.

Then he began using more cotton with polyester, and acrylic.

Not a fan of acrylic either.

He doesn't design my style, though.  The red sweater would be OK if it wasn't so low cut.

I like that button sleeve sweater and lace hoodie. They are just a bit too expensive for me to pull the trigger and purchase.

@Foxxee His line is very small right now.  He is a really good designer and I hope he sticks around even though QVC seems to be moving away from designers.  It is good to see fresh designs!  I hope as the line continues to grow he will feature items that both you and I will like.

And he is so funny!  He is so worth watching!

Last night on the Szish List (Fridays 1AM), Katrina had 3 guests as usual, including designers Dennis Basso and Jason Wu, who are regulars on the show, and all guests may speak on all items.  Katrina was presenting a beautiful (and pricy) new faux fur lined jean jacket (A458942), and Dennis is being his usual exuberant self describing his item.  Jason had already spoken spoken admiringly about this item.  QVC cut to a 3-way split screen while Dennis and Katrina are going back and forth, and we see Jason Wu with an expectant look, clearly bursting with something to say.  And what he said was so funny.  This would go in a best of the Szish List reel.  So if you are curious, you may want to watch.  It's near the end of the presentation, after the 5 minute mark.

Jason presented 2 pieces, apparently at the top of the show before I remembered to tune in. He featured the Button Bell Sleeve Boatneck Sweater, A452609, pictured in the op, and his faux leather pants, very trendy this season.  A458408

I don't care for any of the items pictures.

@NYCLatinaMe

You'd make a good saleswoman.  Lol

I have been watching him and saw Katrina's program.

I have a longer length version of this jean jacket designed by Escada (German).  It has a zip out quilted lining for winter instead of faux fur. She was one of my favorite designers.  I liked her men's inspired blazers, slacks, pantsuits, chunky cardigans, and her blouse and shirt prints were beautiful. Unfortunately, she died from cancer and this line changed quite a bit in the past few years.

I don't look good in bell sleeves and depending on how I move, my bra straps always show with boatnecks.

I have black and also navy blue full length pants (last year) that are all faux leather, not just in the front.  Don't like that Jason's pants have fabric in the back.  QVC sold faux leather pants with fabric backs a few years ago, so this isn't new.

There's another designer with a fabric back on QVC similar to Jason's.  Also, there are designers offering all faux leather pants on QVC, now.  Fabric in the back just seems QVC is compromising the look of real leather pants by cutting costs.  We don't see that in real leather pants.

I frequently saw his designs on Neiman Marcus and Saks, but never clicked on anything to look closer.  I thought he was a copier of other designers with his own twist that didn't add anything to the design.  He does offer something new to QVC that is attractive to some buyers.  Time will tell.

I thought he initially showed promise with his faux leather trench coat as far as style, but other designers in the marketplace have been offering faux leather trench coats for several years that are better quality...over $200, though.  That's my personal opinion, of course, and don't expect others to agree with me.  So, as you can see, his style is not my style.

Yes @Foxxee everyone is offering faux leather!  I wasn't intending sell the new Jason items to you!  I just wanted to write about how funny he is, so I thought I should mention why he was on the show.

What I like from Jason Wu are his dresses and tops, and these are the polyester pieces that I hope he offers in other materials.  #couturesituation   I don't think anyone else at the Q is offering his quality of design in tops and dresses.  Isaac has some pretty dresses, but the measurements don't appear compatible with my body.

I love that DB jacket!  But I am fully stocked in the warm jacket department, so I will pass.  I hope you are still enjoying your Escada!

I agree. I love watching him and having a true designer as opposed to a celebrity designer giving us the same ol' same ol'.

I have been shopping for lightweight rayon/ polyester turtlenecks to wear under sweaters, blouses, etc., nothing expensive and I want a slick material for this.  I have been shopping Amazon.  They have a lot of cotton items.  I am suggesting that those of you looking for clothing with natural material try Amazon, Duluth, LL Bean for example.

@Imaoldhippie I shop Amazon too, particularly for basics.  Amazon is tricky though, because there is a lot of garbage there, and it is hard to find the good stuff from among the garbage.  The other 2 places you recommend are not for me.
