I'm howling, crdlb. I never noticed that fiendish face before.
Why, oh why? If it is a campaign to make Linea less attractive, they are failing like crazy with me.

The on-line posting of the tile print skirt and the open front cardigan were a surprise to me but maybe I missed something in the blog or here on the boards. This just goes to show he always has something in the works just around the corner.
I am Linea-saturated at the moment after my Linea Fling that started with WKs in January ending with the T-Shirt dress from this visit. Now it's time to reorganize!
Pecan, I've been on a personal bender from the summer when Louis introduced the WK faux wrap tops and coordinating pencil skirts, plus other WK sets, up to this succulent Palm Frond collection. Love your term "Linea-saturated." That could well describe me at the moment. Time for a much needed breakie.
LOL, "personal bender"---I'm just glad he isn't selling his own personal brand of Vodka---then we'd be really talkin' "bender"---LOL! I'm telling myself--after the tile prints, the Pebble Crepes and the Crop Leggings---I'm done---I really don't need anything new for Fall---and I have to keep telling myself that---but we will be getting the Tuxedo this year for Holiday---so there's that!
Sheesh, we know it's a losing battle, but sometimes we have to come here and publicly claim that we're pulling the reins in, if only to do it in some small measure. You know, if we come in next week oohing and aahing about the three new Linea shirts we bought, we will lose face -- so we have to stick to our abstinence a bit.
As for my "personal benders," really, I have had little self-control in limiting the number of faux wrap tops with coordinating skirts (got all) and the Palm Frond collection. Plus, I cannot begin to tell you what else stuffed any remaining slots that were available for buying new possessions. I sometimes feel like Ray Milland in that classic Lost Weekend. Or maybe Jack Lemon in The Days of Wine and Roses. I get Linea hangovers after my little sprees
. By putting the skids on myself now, I will feel better. However, I still need the WK open sweater in white. You see what I mean. As for the fall, I'm down for the aubergine and olive WK pencil skirts -- already!
My dear Goldie---I see exactly what you mean---I'm looking at it this way---while I'm trying to get myself under control---well, just a little bit---I am going to retire in a couple of years and if I didn't buy another thing the rest of my life, I'd still have a wardrobe that is beyond measure thanks to Louis and his Linea. Also, Louis is my age and I surmise he will retire at some point...so I'm "grabbing" while I can---still, it feels excessive at times. However, when you can get a fabulous T-shirt dress for under $40---really, why stop?!

I'm hopeless! Just ordered the red torsade; Louis said it's a good color red. Not too bright or brown. Copied it from a wooden piece. Three t shirts from Chico's because they have great ones and I had a twenty five dollar coupon and two Liz t's on lunchtime special. Don't feel guilty about those because at the end of last summer got rid of most of my t's. Two Liz skirts on lunchtime special. One muumuu from Vt Country Store (replaced an old favorite.) I'm set for a couple summers. My hundred dollar gift card to the Q lasted ten minutes.
Passing on the straight cotton skirt for now. I have chili pepper and black short sleeved wk's but the skirt is described as very light weight cotton. I can't wear wk's in summer. I can't handle the heat and would go naked if I could. I envy those who can wear synthetics (I wear them rest of year so this is not a bash) and even jeans. I have Sjogren's syndrome and am heat intolerant. The good news is I don't sweat; the bad news is I don't sweat.
