Re: New Cititzens Rocket jean

I like the first but the second is too high of a rise.  I am short torsoed and the second one would go past my waist.  I am most comfortable in anything below a 10" rise and prefer 9" at least.

Re: New Cititzens Rocket jean

I love the cut of the Olivia and a higher waist has always been flattering on me because of my body shape. For those of us who attempt to keep their wardrobes fresh and current, a new higher waist jean is a must have.

@songbird Thanks for being my denim authority.  You never steer us wrong with your suggestions!

I'm much happier in a 9"to 10" rise.  You hardly see low rise anymore.  A trend two

I prefer a 9' to 10'.  They days of low rise is fading fast.  Less and less of the 7' and thankfully loosing appeal.  Mid rise is now consider 8"1/2" to 9".  10" to 11" is the newer high rise. 3X1 and M.I.H. (wonderful British company but made in L.A.) offer the highest rise. Citizens started with the Rocket.  It got to be very popular skinny with a 9 1/2"-10" rise.  Low rise is still offered, just not as much. You have to have a totally flat stomach just to look great in low rise.  It used to be anything 10" was laughed at and considered "Mom" jeans.  Not anymore.
